(inspired by one of the works on devianart, called "Ophelia")
Withered willows
watered paths
Stark blazing sunlight
blinding the scars
Wind down the galley
where waterways glow
Down to the underworld
where Love waits untold
Yesterday I went to Russel Wong's photography exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum. Interestingly, I saw this quote on the wall which sort-of meshes with my philosophy about photography .. "I am not so interested in light as much as the absence of it .. " =)
My friend pointed out to me that day that my photographs are mostly 'dark', taken in the evening or night, in enclosed spaces or with minimal lighting. I didn't notice this until he pointed it out... I haven't figured this one out.
Anyway.. I don't modify my photos. I don't know if this is good or bad. I see many people framing their photos, changing the lighting, reso... I may like to try. Can someone suggest a program? Have no idea what's good. Thanks.
